Description: Person County Government is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and service-oriented Deputy Library Director to join the leadership team at the Person County Public Library. This key leadership role supports the Library Director in the overall administration, supervision, and advancement of library services, programs, and operations. Qualifications: Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Master’s degree from a program accredited by the American Library Association in library or information science or related field. Three to five years’ experience in library supervision or management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Certifications and Licenses North Carolina Public Librarian Certification eligibility and must obtain within one year of employment. Passport Program certification must obtain within 3 months of employment. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
Salary: $59,076 - $75,700
