Description: The Development Coordinator should be an organized, collaborative, and highly motivated individual who would like to contribute to the growing Friends of the Library program at Carolina. The Development Coordinator reports to the Executive Director of Library Development and will provide full-time support for the goals and objectives of the University Libraries Development Department. The position is responsible for managing key areas of the administrative operations within the Department including processing gifts and maintaining donor records in compliance with University policies and procedures, assisting in the planning and implementation of events, data management, and providing project support for annual giving and donor relations activities. In addition, this position serves as a primary liaison to the University Development Office regarding gift processing, gift/pledge corrections and constituent records in the donor database. This position may be eligible for hybrid work arrangement to include partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. 

Qualifications: Enthusiasm for academic research library fundraising in addition to a spirit of creativity. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or fundraising databases experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. 

Salary: $40,000 - $50,565
