Description: The Digital Inclusion Librarian will be primarily responsible for conducting digital inclusion and bibliographic instruction for students and faculty with a focus on Early College and Career and College Promise (CCP) students located at off-campus sites. The Digital Inclusion Librarian will also assist in technology instruction, developing and maintaining the library’s website through LibGuides, and working with faculty on embedded librarian projects. Essential job functions include conducting digital inclusion and bibliographic instruction to students and faculty with an emphasis on CCP and Early College students; curating and updating the library’s website hosted through LibGuides; networking with faculty to assess digital inclusion needs such as embedded librarianship and finding OER materials; serving as the point-person for the library’s Chromebook and Wi-Fi hotspot circulation program; and assisting the Director of Library Services in the curation and development of library databases and e-content.
Qualifications: MLS or MLIS from an ALA-accredited program (will accept applications from students who are nearing completion of their degree). Experience in a library setting—preferably in a community college or academic library.
