Description: Plans, implements, and promotes digital literacy and technology-related programs, including STEM outreach initiatives; provides technology assistance to patrons. Assists with creation of digital content, including digitization of local history collections and creation of online programs/videos. Helps manage library software/technologies, including integrated library system, 3D printers, and digital resources; provides training for staff and patrons. Manages library website, social media and digital platforms. Collaborates with Director to develop and facilitate implementation of technology and digital services plan. Communicates technology and digital services needs to IT Department; troubleshoot problems; implements and evaluates responsive and innovative technologies. Assists with the collection, reporting, and analysis of data related to library services, programs, and resources. Maintains inventory of technologies, software, and digital resources. Works with Director to budget for new technologies, software, and digitalresources. Assists with the selection, training, and implementation of new technologies used in STEAM-related outreach programs. Manages e-rate applications.
Qualifications: Knowledge and competency associated with completion of baccalaureate degree in related field of study. Master of Library Science degree preferred. Knowledge of emerging technologies/digital resources and integrated library systems. Skill managing websites social media, library software, computers, mobile devices, and robotics; proficiency in multimedia applications / mobile technology; and compiling information / preparing reports.
Salary: $47,964.80 - $50,377.60
