Description: This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement to include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The University Libraries is seeking a Director of Annual Giving to join the successful and dynamic Library Development team. The Director of Annual Giving will lead the comprehensive strategy and execution of the Friends of the Library annual giving program, including multichannel solicitations with a new focus on digital fundraising. This position also leads special fundraising initiatives and fosters pan-university efforts between University Libraries and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Qualifications: Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required (or foreign degree equivalent) three years or greater of related professional experience; for candidates demonstrating comparable professional backgrounds, 5+ years of successful annual giving or transferable experience preferred. Familiarity with the University’s DAVIE (Database for Advancing our Vision of Institutional Excellence) customer relationship management (CRM) system.
