Description: The Impact Research team (IRT) is part of NCBiotech’s Business Intelligence & Analytics (BIA) unit. IRT serves as organization-wide advisors on business intelligence, content and knowledge management, information tools, and workflows. The Director of IRT leads the team to develop services which measure and report both NCBiotech’s impact on the life sciences ecosystem and the impact of the life sciences industry in North Carolina. Developing strong cross-functional partnerships with other teams will be key to identifying areas of need for IRT support. This position will advise the VP, BIA, on emerging issues and trends to be addressed in operational, budget, and personnel decisions. This role will be based at NCBiotech’s headquarters in Research Triangle Park, NC, and on-site work is expected 50% of the time.
Qualifications: A graduate degree in a relevant field, such as business analytics, data science, or library and information sciences. Minimum of five years’ experience with at least two years’ experience managing and supervising personnel or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Salary: $95,000
