Description: The Director, Inclusion & Talent Management manages a broad portfolio that provides leadership and support across the employment lifecycle. This includes managing the recruitment of librarian and staff positions throughout the Libraries, including the nomination, search, and appointment processes; serving as search manager and equity officer on nomination committees; developing candidate sourcing strategies; and serving as policy and procedures expert, insuring compliance with federal regulations and university policies, including Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action. With the Associate Director for Organizational Design, Equity, & Talent, the Director, Inclusion & Talent Management plays a leadership role in the Libraries’ equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, including developing and implementing strategies to increase employment, advancement, and retention of members from underrepresented groups. Participates in employee engagement initiatives and workforce and succession planning and helps to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all Libraries employees.
Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS, MIS, or equivalent advanced degree
Salary: $80,000-90,000
