Description: Responsible for the overall operation of the Library and specific functions. Provides a vision for UMO Library that enhances growth and services to students, faculty, and staff. Supervises and administers all library operations, services, and policies including the FWB Historical Collection and the College Archives. Provides leadership in the planning and development of the library and its programs. Prepares and administers library budget. Maintains Library collection through selection, acquisition, and weeding. Coordinates and supervises interlibrary loan and reference services. Coordinates inventory, use, and maintenance of library computers and multimedia. Coordinates and assists in providing a comprehensive bibliographic instruction program for campus and online students. Issues library purchase orders and processes invoices for payment through the Business Office. Provides general reference and circulation assistance to students and faculty on a scheduled and request basis, including evening work. Coordinate and Supervise student workers.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in either, Library and Information Science, Information Science, or Library Science Minimum of two to four years with direct experience in a University Library. Submit a letter of interest, resume, and contact information for three references.
