Description: The Electronic Resources Acquisitions & Licensing Librarian supports the acquisition, licensing, and renewal of electronic resources and print serials for Duke University Libraries (DUL) in a complex, multi-consortia environment, with an emphasis on electronic resources licensing support. In addition, they collaborate with departmental colleagues to communicate and build relationships with publisher and vendor representatives, evaluate e-resources, and maintain acquisitions and license records in library systems. The Electronic Resources Acquisitions & Licensing Librarian works closely with DUL’s acquisitions staff on questions of ordering, order follow-up, utilization of the licensing database), usage statistics, accessibility of new resources and other related matters.

Qualifications: Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated analytical, organizational, time and project management skills, including the ability to set priorities and effectively manage multiple projects and assignments.

Salary: $55,000-$67,000
