Description: The Evening Public Services Supervisor will join a close team of librarians and professional staff in a small college environment. The Evening Public Services Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of circulation and the employment of student workers; serves as the library’s representative to its constituency; and provides basic reference help to students in coordination with the other library staff. This position is primarily afternoon and evening hours Sunday through Thursday while classes are in session from about September through May. Summer hours, June through August, are first shift. Qualifications: Bachelor degree. Demonstrated experience with standard office computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Strong organizational skills. Strong commitment patron-centered service. Clear, discrete, and courteous communication, both written and verbal. A disposition to flexibility, adaptation, and change.
