Description: The Harkins Intern for the Duke Centennial will process the Duke Photography Records, which includes prints, negatives, slides, digital formats, and documentation related to the work of the Duke Photo office from the late 1980s to the mid-2000s. The Harkins Intern will also assist in answering reference questions about the collection, along with other projects to prepare for Duke’s upcoming centennial.
Qualifications: BA/BS in liberal arts or social science fields and current enrollment or recent graduate of archival studies, public history, or information and library science programs, or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; interest in photography and/or University Archives; academic background in American history.
Salary: $17.00 / hour
