Description: East Carolina University is recruiting for the Head of Circulation for Academic Library Services’ (ALS). The Head of Circulation is responsible for overseeing the circulation of ALS’ general collections and equipment. The position provides leadership and vision for the department to design, deliver and maintain accessible, forwardlooking, and user-centered services that advance the diverse teaching, learning and research needs of the East Carolina University community. The position provides basic customer service to facilitate the general use of the library. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Public Services, the position manages a department of six employees and serves as a member of the ALS Director’s Council. Qualifications: Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited school of library and information science or international equivalent . Library experience in circulation services.
