Description: This early career Health Sciences Librarian position provides client-centered information, education, and research services using a variety of methods and technologies; responds to a range of search requests in a variety of health subject areas; and works with colleagues to advise clients on information sources, data management, scholarly communications, and emerging library services. They are part of a team of liaison librarians who support the University’s schools of dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and public health and clinical departments at UNC Medical Center.
Qualifications: ALA-accredited Master’s degree in library or information science or related advanced degree. Experience conducting literature searching in health subject areas. Demonstrated knowledge of health sciences information resources and scholarly communication practices. Ability to work independently and excel in a dynamic, collaborative, team-based environment.
