Information Literacy Librarian for the First Year Experience - Appalachian State University

Description: This position will lead the library in developing programs, services, outreach activities, and curricular initiatives that focus on first-year students. As a member of the Information Literacy Team, this individual collaborates with a team of librarians to provide liaison services including instruction, collection management, research services, and outreach and engagement.

Qualifications: ALA-accredited master’s degree or equivalent advanced degree. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Awareness of library liaison work, as well as research instruction and support. Awareness of information literacy pedagogy and ACRL Framework for Information Literacy in Higher Education.

Salary: $54,000 – $62,000
