Description: The Information Literacy Librarian is part of Randall Library’s Research and Instructional Services division, which collaborates with faculty, staff, and students in UNCW academic units to provide information literacy instruction, assist with research, manage the library collection, and partner on programming, in alignment with the information needs of campus stakeholders. Library faculty in this division proactively engage with campus constituents to promote the use of library services, facilities, and materials. This position is responsible for contributing to UNCW student success by promoting information literacy knowledge and skills through the development of information literacy instruction materials; engagement with faculty, staff, and students in University College, English Composition and the Honors College; and coordination of information literacy faculty development programs. This is an 11 month {JULY – MAY}, renewable, non-tenure track special faculty position reporting to the Associate Director of Research and Instructional Services.
Qualifications: ALA-accredited Master’s degree in library and information sciences. Demonstrated teaching experience.
