Description: Academic Library reference experience. Instructional Experience, including experience designing and leading instructional activities that range from first-year programs to courseintegrated support for graduate and research programs. Experience with traditional and electronic reference sources. Familiarity with best practices in instruction. Experience in making presentations to students, faculty, and staff. Experience with advanced technology. Experience with advanced searching techniques. Experience assessing instructional services, including classroom instruction and web-based offerings, and developing course content. Familiarity with ACRL standards for Information Literacy and Distance Learning Library Services.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science or its equivalent from a program accredited by the American Library Association and two to three years of professional experience in an academic library.
