Description: The Information Technology Services Manager reports to the Director of Information Technology. The incumbent oversees daily operations of the Technology Services unit, and provides supervision for 6 staff and a varying number of student assistants. They manage the Libraries IT Service Desk operations and oversee computing support, network services, communication technology, and technical training for Libraries staff. They lead the Libraries’ annual computing refresh process and contribute to the development of the annual IT budget. They provide consultations and facilitate technical solution development with stakeholders across the Libraries, and prioritize staff and budgetary resources to ensure projects are completed in a timely fashion. The incumbent recruits and mentors Technology Services staff, and fosters a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages professional growth and development. They participate in library planning, serve on library-wide committees and task forces, and represent the Libraries in the NC State University IT community.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus one – two years’ of relevant experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
