Description: Forsyth County Public Library has an exciting opportunity for an IT professional to guide the Library’s response to the vast technology related needs and interests of the community. The Library Innovation and Technology Manager provides leadership for the Library’s technology-based initiatives and projects. This includes planning, design and implementation of system-wide information technology services such as the Library’s Computer Training Bridge program, deployment of various technologies at all locations and the overall management and upkeep of the Central Library’s Makerspace and related tools and equipment. As a member of the Library’s Leadership Team, the Library’s Innovation and Technology Manager will support the development and coordination of technology training for staff and customers. In the spirit of collaboration and stewardship, the LIT Manager will be responsible for managing the Library’s relationship with the County Management of Information Systems Department and other agencies in order to maintain partnerships and achieve mutual goals.
Qualifications: Graduation from a four-year college with a degree in computer science and 4 years of experience in P.C., networking, and large systems. A four-year degree outside of the relevant academic field plus additional years of relevant experience may also be considered.
Salary: $57,130.34 - $65,699.89
