Description: Warren Wilson College seeks creative, innovative, and student-centered applicants for an extended contract faculty Instruction and Engagement Librarian position in the Pew Learning Center & Ellison Library (PLC) beginning July 1, 2026. This library faculty member will develop, lead, and assess the PLC’s Research and Instruction program through the implementation and delivery of course-related information literacy instruction.

Qualifications: MLIS or equivalent degree from an ALA accredited program. One year of demonstrated teaching experience or library instructional experience. Demonstrated ability to cultivate and advocate for an environment of inclusive excellence systemically and interpersonally. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with the issues surrounding AI in academia and the ability to integrate AI literacy into teaching and learning initiatives and services. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and scholarship.
