Description: The Instruction and Student Success Librarian encourages student success by providing reference and instructional services, contributing to public service projects, and outreach to faculty and student support services across the College. This position: Plans, develops, and teaches library and information literacy instruction to a diverse student population. Provides instructional support through chat, embedded librarianship, one-on-one appointments, and classroom instruction. Collaborates with faculty in the design and delivery of information literacy instruction. Assists in training other library staff in classroom instruction, embedded librarianship, chat, and one-on-one appointments. Schedules classroom and assigns librarians for library instruction sessions. Provides high-quality reference services to students, faculty, and staff. Fosters student success by performing outreach to College departments and units. Promotes library resources, spaces, and services to students. Collaborates with other library department and committees on outreach events. Assists assessment librarian in collecting and analyzing data relating to student success.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree from a regionally-accredited institution in Library Science or Master of Library and Information Studies; ALA-accredited and one year of library experience.
