International & Area Studies Intern - Duke University Libraries
Description: The Intern will primarily provide support for collection development activities and, if time allows, will include responding to reference questions, revision and creation of subject guides, basic classroom instruction on library services and public programming. The specific regional emphasis will focus on South and Southeast Asia.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and currently be enrolled in or a recent graduate from an accredited advanced degree program in Library & Information Science or an appropriate field of International and Area Studies. Reading ability in one or more of the following languages, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu.
