Description: The Children's Room is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic children's librarian who enjoys working with children of all ages, with an emphasis on programming for ages 0-6. Librarian I programming includes Pre-K Storytime, Lap sit Storytime, and occasional STEAM programs for school-aged children. The ideal candidate has experience working with children ages 0-6 and has an understanding of ECCR-based best practices and Supercharged Storytime's. Some nights & Saturdays required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and some experience working as a librarian or experience working in a field related to the specialized nature of the position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
