Description: Rowan County is currently accepting applications for the position of Librarian I. This position provides reference services using print and electronic sources; develops and maintains Young Adult print collection; and facilitates and presents Young Adult programs for teens and pre-teens; helps maintain, operate, and staff the makerspace (The Coop) and assists with makerspace programming; involves evening and weekend rotations.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Library Science, ALA-accredited degree preferred. Degree/coursework must be from an appropriately accredited institution. Public Library experience preferred.
Salary: $41,000 - $45,100
