DESCRIPTION
Lee County Library is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Librarian I- Teen Services. This individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional services and fostering meaningful connections with our patrons between the ages of 13-24. This position assists in the supervision of the Teen Department including teen programming creation and facilitation, proactive outreach initiatives, reference assistance, collection development and maintenance, community-building endeavors, and customer service. Work will be performed under the general direction of the Librarian II- Youth Services, with oversight from the Librarian III- Community Engagement and the Director of Library Services.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in library science from a college/university accredited by the American Library Association. Minimum of 1 year of librarian experience working in a public library ideally in teen programming and services, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Evergreen ILS preferred.
SALARY
$51,783.00 / Annually
