Description: This Librarian II Technical Services Manager is located at the Headquarters Library within the Technical Services Division and is responsible for advanced, professional cataloging and metadata for physical and digital collections, oversight, and coordination of the departmental workflow of receiving, processing, and distribution of new materials. The position asks for an enthusiastic, innovative individual with a thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of library cataloging serials, and acquisitions and ability to adapt to changing technology or library science methodology.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in Library Science and 1 year of professional library experience, preferably including 6 months of supervisory experience. One year library cataloging and acquisitions experience preferred.
