Description: This is a senior library management position reporting to the Library Director. The Readers Services division manager oversees a staff of 9, which includes 5 fulltime and 4 part-time as well as occasional interns. Readers Services manages the print and non-print adult and YA fiction collections, as well as large print, digital collections/contracts, and adult audiovisual materials. This division also provides outreach to senior facilities and day centers, homebound service, and programming for special needs adults. The division manager works with other library divisions to plan and implement major library events such as community reads, author visits or other large scale programs as needed.
Qualifications: MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution required, as well as a minimum of 3 years' supervisory and budget experience. Valid NC drivers license or comparable license required.
Salary: $50,281.92 - $68,244.80
