Description: Buncombe County Public Library is recruiting an enthusiastic leader to take on the role of Branch Services Manager. This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of a busy branch library, supervising system branch managers, and serving as a key member of the Library's administrative team. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, community-oriented professional with a passion for public service. The primary purpose of this position is to perform advanced administrative, supervisory, and professional library work managing and directing information services and collection for the library.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in library science from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited school and five (5) years of related library experience, including at least two (2) years of management or supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary: $55,760.87 - $73,883.13
