Description: The Library at Richmond Community College is seeking a collaborative, service-oriented, and intellectually curious librarian. We serve a diverse student population that includes traditional students, adult learners, and two early college programs. This position is one of two librarians on campus, and reports to the Vice President of Instruction. This librarian is responsible for the operation of the library during the evening hours; management of electronic library resources, services, and tools; and instruction and research services to select programs and departments within the college.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Information Science from an ALA accredited institution required (completion of degree by December 2022). Experience in an academic or community college setting preferred. Knowledge of and/or experience with Evergreen ILS or other open source library software preferred. Current knowledge of Office 365, and Springshare products preferred.
Salary: $37,271 - $46,589
