Description:
Person County Government is seeking a passionate and dedicated Librarian to join our team with the Person County Public Library. As a Librarian, you will play a crucial role in promoting literacy and fostering a love for reading among families, children, and teens in our community. You will be responsible for managing library resources, assisting patrons in finding information, and organizing educational programs and events.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree from a program accredited by the American Library Association in library or information science or related field.
Two (2) years interacting with children and parents or related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
Must possess or be eligible for NC Public Library Certification.
Salary: $49,402/year - $62,304/year
