Library Associate II / Circulation Supervisor - Rowan Public Library System

Description: Provides day-to-day supervision and management of circulation services; schedules personnel; resolves daily circulation services problems; provides direct service to the public; manages various reading apps on different operating systems; notifies users of fines and fees and collects fines and fees; performs clerical tasks including the maintenance of a variety of departmental records, files, and logs; and works with other supervisory staff to improve customer service, plan staff development, implement circulation procedures, and maintain collections; and assists managers with TLC Software, computer trouble shooting, and maintenance. Evening and weekend work required. Requires the ability to train and supervise personnel; analyze and be familiar with various personal data devices; manage online databases; troubleshoot basic technical computer problems; and work well with the public. Requires strong written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of TLC’s Library Solution Automation System (LS2) preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts, Business Administration, or related field and two years experience working in a library or public service setting. Degree/Coursework must be from an appropriately accredited institution.

Salary: $32,700 - $36,000 with benefits package
