Description: Cabarrus County Public Library is looking for an energetic Branch Manager to supervise the Harrisburg Branch Library in Harrisburg, NC. This position serves patrons of all ages, along with conducting outreach and special programming. As a part of the Charlotte metro region, Cabarrus County is one of the fastest growing counties in NC, and our library system is experiencing a time of exciting growth and opportunities. Performs difficult professional and responsible administrative work overseeing activities in a branch library. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Library Director. Supervision is exercised over branch library personnel. Work Schedule for this position is as follows: M-F 8 am - 5 pm, one night per week, and some Saturdays.
Qualifications: Graduation from an ALA accredited library school with MLS and considerable experience in a public library. Possession of North Carolina State Library Certificate. May require possession of an appropriate driver's license valid in the state of North Carolina.
Salary: $62,337.60- $74,526.40
