Description: An employee in this class performs professional and technical work to plan, organize, manage, and direct the operations, programs, services, and personnel of the Angier Public Library. Work includes developing and monitoring budget resources, planning and implementing overall library goals and objectives, and oversight of staff and services. Work is performed under general supervision of the Harnett County Library Director and performance is evaluated on the basis of attainment of specific performance objectives, personal observation, feedback from users, stake holders, and employees.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a four-year degree or graduate degree in Library Science or Library and Information Studies with a Master’s degree preferred. Experience managing a library branch or related supervisory experience or equivalent education and/or experience. Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license.
Salary: $47,253 - $56,704
