Description: Located in western Cary, West Regional Library is the busiest regional library in Wake County and one of the busiest in the state. This library serves the diverse population of western Wake County that loves its library! Library Managers in WCPL Regional Libraries have the primary responsibility for management of operations, supervision of Department Managers and facility upkeep. Each Regional Library has two Department Managers: one who manages the programs and services in the Adult Services Department and one who manages the programs and services in the Youth Services Department. Each Regional Library Manager works with their Department Managers and Senior Management to plan for collections, services, staffing and programs at their location.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Librarianship or related field: MLS, MLIS, MIS, ML from an ALA accredited program or NC program. One year of experience as a librarian.
