Description: The Circulation & Machine Unit Supervisor will supervise the circulation and machine unit staff and oversee the operation of both units. The Circulation Unit is responsible for assigning mail cards, processing outgoing and incoming books and materials, transporting materials to and from the US Post Office, assisting with vehicle operation and monitoring maintenance needs, and providing facility support. Circulation also contacts patrons with overdue books to get books returned. The Machine Unit is in charge of maintaining machine inventory, sending out, repairing, and checking in digital audio players and braille e-reading equipment. Both units work cooperatively and cross-train whenever possible.
Qualifications: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience, including one year as a lead worker; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
