Description: The Regional Director is the executive officer responsible for the administration, planning, and daily operation of the three-county library system and its eight member libraries. The Director's responsibilities include fiscal management, personnel management, and professional library work. The Director also represents the library to the community and works closely with town and county administrators, elected officials, and other agencies. The director reports directly to the Board of Trustees and supervises the Branch Managers and the Regional Headquarters staff.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited graduate school, North Carolina Librarian Certification within one year of employment, a minimum of five years professional library experience, with at least three years of administrative or supervisory responsibility.
Salary: $50,000 - $54,000
