Description: The Library Director for DeTamble Library at St. Andrews serves as both Library Administrator and Reference Librarian for this academic library. The Library Director holds faculty status and reports to the Academic Dean. The position begins on July 15, 2022. Responsibilities include managing and developing the digital and tangible library collections; providing reference and research assistance to students, faculty, and staff, including interlibrary loan assistance; developing and updating research guides in a wide range of academic disciplines; providing library instruction as requested; cataloging, processing, invoicing all library materials; budget management; library policies and procedures oversight; managing and curating the St. Andrews Archives; completing annual statistical and assessment reports; participation in the NCICU Library Consortium.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Library Science or Information Science from an institution accredited by the American Library Association; experience in an academic setting preferred.
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000,
