Description: Wake County Public Libraries is seeking a Library Division Manager (Senior Library Manager) to join its Senior Leadership Team. Senior Library Managers work with the Library Director and Deputy Director to provide leadership, administration and planning for system resources and operations. Senior Library Managers work with peers, Library Administration, Library Managers and Supervisors, Library Staff and Community Services Administration to implement programs and initiatives for customers and staff. Additionally, Senior Library Managers supervise Library Managers. This position will focus on Staff Engagement and Development, with key responsibilities for: Working with Community Services Administration to conduct regular staff engagement surveys, creating, coordinating and scheduling training for all levels of staff, coordinating attendance at professional conferences, creating and implementing leadership and mentorship programs, working with Wake County HR to encourage staff participation in health, wellness and recognition programs, supervising library managers, including annual performance reviews.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Librarianship or related field: MLS, MLIS, MIS, ML from an ALA-accredited program or NC program. Three years of professional public library experience, including one year of public library management experience. Equivalent education and experience are NOT accepted.
