Description
The work involves supervising the daily operations of the Youth Services division of the Orange County Main Library. Responsibilities include: overseeing the development and implementation of programming, services, technology, procedures, and division goals; providing excellent customer service; managing the division budget; and supervising assigned staff.
Qualifications
Graduation from an ALA-accredited university with a master’s degree in library science, AND three (3) years of professional librarian experience working in a school or public library with demonstrated leadership and management of projects, AND two (2) years of work experience in directly supervising personnel, or an equivalent combination of training and experience as defined above. A higher degree does not substitute for work experience.
