Description: The LHR Employee Engagement and Inclusion Coordinator focuses on developing and supporting an engaged, committed, and diverse workforce through recruitment, staff development programming, identification of best practices, and recognition activities. This position will oversee new employee onboarding (including managing the orientation program), identify, coordinate, and support staff development initiatives (including, but not limited to programming in support of management excellence, diversity and inclusion, University-wide initiatives, and trends in librarianship). They will also partner with managers to promote a culture that recognizes the accomplishments of staff. This is a 2-year term appointment with the possibility of extension.
Qualifications: Relevant advanced degree, MLS from an ALA-accredited program, or a combination of education and experience, including, but not limited to, relevant experience in academiclibraries, human resources, and/or D/E/I/A. One year experience leading initiatives in academic libraries, human resources or diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility programming.
Salary: $53,000 - $65,000
