Description: Under general supervision, performs specialized Library work assisting in planning and organizing a program of services for children and youth in the County Library. Work involves designing and presenting age appropriate programs and events and providing technical and reference assistance to Library patrons. Employee must exercise initiative and independent judgment in program development. Employee must also exercise considerable tact and courtesy in frequent contacts with library patrons. Reports to the Youth Services Manager. Evening and weekend work required.
Qualifications: Graduation from High School and experience working with the public in a Library setting; college degree preferred; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
Salary: $34,885.24
