Description: The Library Social Work Coordinator position requires coordination of system-wide social work initiatives; providing guidance and support for social work-related issues throughout the system. Other responsibilities include supervision and oversight of the internship program. This position hires, assigns, trains, orients, and supervises interns including coaching on industry best practices. Creates and maintains a flexible environment for implementing new mental health/ support services and trends. Develops and maintains partnerships with community agencies and vendors/contractors who provide supportive services for customers and staff. Contributes to organizational effectiveness by identifying training needs, and developing and facilitating staff training on topics such as mental health first aid, trauma-informed care, and de-escalation skills. This position assists customers in accessing community services, and supports them with navigating social service systems and applications.

Qualifications: Master's Degree with 4-6 years of experience in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program or a Bachelor's Degree with 8-10 years of experience in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program. Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW in NC).

Salary: $58,343 - $76,767
