Description:
An employee in this position is responsible for assisting the Library Director in the advancement and implementation of special projects throughout the library system. The Special Projects Liaison serves as a point of contact between library leadership and special project partners and oversees the day to day needs of special project throughout all phases of the project, from development to implementation and evaluation.
Keeps the Library Director or their designee, as well as all project partners, informed on the status of special projects.
Under direction of the Library Director or their designee; as well as any project partners - prepares, markets, presents, and evaluates aspects of special projects.
Participates in publicity and marketing of items related to special projects and including writing library related columns in local publications. Tracks the impact of special projects in the community.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major/degree in business, social work, or a related field and two (2) years customer service experience and experience in planning and management of a program or graduation from an accredited two-year college or technical school and four (4) years customer service experience and experience in the planning and management of a program.
Salary: $47,331.47/year
