Description: Salem Academy & College Library seeks a part-time Library Specialist with customer service and supervisory experience to work evenings during the academic year. Essential duties and responsibilities include providing staff coverage during evening hours (5-10 p.m.), Sunday - Thursday; supervising student workers and reinforcing policies and procedures; providing direct assistance to faculty, staff, students and community members; circulation tasks, including collecting fines and answering interlibrary loan questions; troubleshooting library technology and refering issues to the IT Department as necessary; and managing and troubleshooting facility-related issues and refering to the appropriate department.
Qualifications: Customer service experience. Supervisory experience. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a variety of users. Experience with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Salary: $10.00 / hour
