The Forsyth Technical Community College Library is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and team-orientated full-time Library Technical Services Specialist who will provide excellent customer service and promote a positive library experience to all users and visitors. This position helps to maintain a friendly and welcoming environment in the library. As part of the Library Services team, the Library Technical Services Specialist will value innovation and collaboration and commit themselves to fostering an environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. This position will report to the Instructional Librarian.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or three years of experience as a library cataloger working in a library setting. 
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with library colleagues, faculty, students, and the public by providing excellent customer service. 
Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and accurately estimate time for tasks. 
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Excel, database software, and compiling statistical data. 
Ability to work independently with little supervision. 
Perform copy cataloging. 
Perform a high volume of work with accuracy and attention to detail.
