Description: The primary purpose is to manage, maintain, and support digital media platforms and database applications supporting the access and instructional and research use of media materials with the Media & Design Center (MDC). Position works to manage, maintain, and support multiple needed digital media platforms, along with database and media instructional and research tools of particular use to the Media & Design Center staff and users. Position is responsible for managing all digital and physical media research and instructional materials including but not limited to: managing multiple digital media platforms, managing local digital site license media files (after initial licensing) and related database management, maintaining access and digital file standards, as well as overseeing processing, description and arrangement of physical media and equipment added to the collection, and develops, programs, and supports all database applications associated with this work while seeking to increase and maintain efficiencies for this process.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Computer Information Technology, computer Technology Integration, Networking Technology, or related area and one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution. Experience managing digital media platforms, digital media dashboards and corresponding metrics.
