Description: The Media Production & Instruction Technician is responsible for providing responsive public service and higher tier, in-depth desktop support in the media and design labs, audio lab, and podcast studio including but not limited to: the administration of software; computer imaging; ensuring production capability on all computers and software; providing classroom instruction; as well as small group and one-on-one instructional support in the labs directly with UNC faculty, students and staff on the hardware and software needed to produce digital media including audio, video and 2D design.
Qualifications: Demonstrated experience providing group and one-to-one instruction or training Digital Media production coursework. Proven media design skills – including providing a portfolio or samples of well-designed projects. Demonstrated understanding of digital and media literacies. Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technology.
Salary: $55,250 – $60,000
