Monographic Receipts and Processing Assistant - Duke University Libraries

Description: The Monographic Receipts Management Assistant is a member of the Western Languages Team in the Monograph Acquisitions Department of Duke University Libraries. This position receives and checks in monographic materials in all formats, prepares invoices for payment, performs copy cataloging, and prepares materials for original cataloging. Works under general supervision, but exercises considerable independent judgment in performing daily activities.

Qualifications: Two years post-secondary education, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. One year of library experience; the ability to work independently and as a member of a task-oriented, high production team; ability to effectively organize and prioritize daily work; commitment to providing outstanding customer services.

Salary: $18.96 / hour
