Description: Under the supervision of the Head of the Music Library, and working closely with Music Library staff, this position will provide support for research services, public services, outreach, instruction, and collection development activities of the Duke University Music Library. The mix of responsibilities will depend on the needs of the Music Library, and the background and interest of the successful candidate. This internship will provide opportunities to gain hands-on library experience, to learn in depth about resources and tools which support music research, and to develop professional skills and competencies relevant to the field of music librarianship.
Qualifications: Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree and must currently be enrolled in an accredited advanced degree program. Background in a music field obtained through a degree program in music, a music minor, college coursework, or other formal training in music
Salary: $18.00 / hour
