Come along for this unique and educational experience as we explore the beauty of native North Carolina plants! This guided tour will take you through the native plant gardens of the NC Department of Natural & Cultural Resources building and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, highlighting the diverse flora that thrives in our state. Participants will take home a seed packet from the State Library's Native Seed Library, a free seed exchange focused on promoting gardening with plants indigenous to North Carolina.
In the event of inclement weather, registrants are invited to join staff in the GHL Reading Room for a presentation on "How to Get Your Seeds Started." Registrants will be notified of any changes in advance.
