Navigating Online North Carolina Newspaper Collections from NewsBank and NewspaperARCHIVE
Join us for Part III of our “News You Can Use” series as we do a deep dive into two North Carolina newspaper collections, NewsBank and NewspaperARCHIVE. Building on Part I and Part II, we will explore strategies for using these subscription databases, accessible with an SLNC Government & Heritage Library card.
The online collections from NewsBank and NewspaperARCHIVE contain historical and contemporary newspaper content and are essential resources for accessing local newspapers from large cities and small communities across North Carolina.
We will give in-depth coverage of the newspapers included in these databases as well as specific strategies for searching these individual collections and platforms.
